Little River is located in the heart of scenic Appalachia. It offers the full experience with sweeping pastures, nestled among the back of Dragon's rolling mountains. It has a large flow that emanates from two large springs, filled with deep pools created by turns where the river hits a number of large cliff faces. These pools range from 6-8 feet deep with runs and ripples. Little river also has a tremendous aquatic insect population along with many vertebrate forage fish. Little River was also ranked number #1 in the state in terms of water quality in early 2000.
